Greystone Shutters fits made-to-measure plantation shutters across four supplier ranges, each with its own material and colour set: Seattle, Boston, Hollywood and Montana. That covers everyday painted whites and greys, a wider painted palette, waterproof ABS colours for wet rooms, and full hardwood stains when you want a timber look.

Boston and Hollywood share the same 18 painted names. Montana adds the full wood-stain set. Custom colour is available on Boston, Hollywood and Montana (not on the fixed Seattle six).

Seattle is our contemporary, hard-wearing everyday range: engineered wood coated in polymer, easy to clean, and a strong choice for busy living rooms, bedrooms and hallways.

Boston: wider painted palette (engineered wood frame / hardwood louvres)

Boston pairs a robust engineered-wood frame with hardwood louvres: higher quality build while keeping cost sensible, and the same 18 painted colours as Hollywood. Custom colour is available.

Hollywood: waterproof ABS colours

Hollywood is ABS plastic: highly resistant to water, for bathrooms, en suites and steamy kitchens. Same 18 painted colours as Boston, plus custom colour where suitable. It will not take Montana wood stains.

Montana: painted colours and wood stains (full hardwood)

Montana is full hardwood (premium hardwood with an engineered core to help resist warping). It carries 41 finishes: the 18 painted solid colours below, plus 23 Designer Colour wood stains, and custom colour is available.

A timber look suits homes where shutters should sit closer to furniture than to paintwork: oak-toned flooring, stained doors or wooden furniture. In kitchens, we only recommend wood where the window is well away from the taps and cooker; otherwise waterproof Hollywood is the better choice.

Custom colour match (hex preferred)

If you need shutters to sit with a kitchen colour, a feature wall or existing joinery, we can specify a bespoke finish on the ranges that support it (Boston, Hollywood, Montana).

Jack’s practical rule: we can match almost any reference you bring. A hex code is preferred because it is precise. Our supplier colour-matching service can also match a RAL K7 reference. A physical paint chip or door sample works well too.

Lead time for non-standard finishes

Popular stock whites and greys usually follow our standard production window. Custom colours, special stains and other non-standard finishes can add time before fitting day.

• Can you match my kitchen or paint colour?

  Yes. Where the material range allows a custom finish, we can match almost any reference you bring: a paint chip, a kitchen door sample, or a photo with a hex code. Hex is preferred because it is precise. A RAL K7 reference also works with our supplier colour-matching service. We still confirm the match with physical samples in your room, because screen colours and phone photos shift under different light.

• Hex vs RAL vs paint chip: what should I send?

  A hex code is the clearest starting point for your enquiry. A RAL K7 number or a physical paint chip / door sample also works well. Share whatever you already have when you book; on the free home visit we compare samples against your walls, flooring and woodwork in daylight before you order.

• Do waterproof shutters have the same colour range?

  Waterproof Hollywood shutters are ABS plastic, ideal for bathrooms and steamy kitchens. Hollywood carries the same 18 painted colours as Boston (whites, neutrals and greys through to Clay), plus custom colour where suitable. Wood stains sit on the Montana hardwood range, not on ABS. We will be honest on the visit about what is available for wet rooms versus wood.

• Can I see colour samples at home before I order?

  Yes. Brad or Andy bring colour and finish samples to your door on a free home visit. You compare them in your own light, agree style and material for each room, and leave with a fixed written quote the same day, with no obligation.

• Does a custom colour take longer?
