Acknowledgment
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our Website and the agreement between You and the Company when booking consultations, requesting quotations, or purchasing our Services. By accessing our Website, booking a free home consultation, or placing an order for shutters, You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If You do not agree with any part, please do not use the Website or proceed with our Services. You confirm that You are over 18 years of age. We do not knowingly provide Services to those under 18. Quotations and Orders
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued and are subject to a home survey. Orders are accepted only upon receipt of your deposit and written confirmation from Us. We reserve the right to refuse any order. Prices quoted include supply and professional installation unless stated otherwise. VAT is included at the prevailing rate.
Home Consultation and Survey
Our free home consultation includes measuring your windows and discussing options. No obligation to proceed. A detailed survey will be carried out before manufacturing begins to ensure perfect fit. You are responsible for ensuring access to the property and that windows/frames are suitable for shutter installation.
Payment Terms
A deposit (typically 60%) is required to confirm your order and commence manufacturing. The balance is due on the day of installation, prior to completion. We accept payment by bank transfer or major credit/debit cards (subject to any applicable fees).
Manufacturing and Installation
Shutters are made-to-measure and manufactured to order. Typical lead time is 8 to 12 weeks from deposit and final survey, though we will confirm expected timescales. Installation is carried out by our experienced in-house team. We will agree an installation date with You in advance and aim to complete on the scheduled day.
Cancellations and Refunds
As shutters are bespoke and made-to-measure, You do not have an automatic right to cancel once manufacturing has begun (your Consumer Rights may vary, see below). Cancellations before manufacturing starts may be accepted at our discretion, subject to deduction of any costs incurred. Deposits are non-refundable once manufacturing commences.
Consumer Rights
If You are a consumer contracting as a private individual, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to cancel within 14 days if the contract is concluded off-premises or at a distance (subject to exceptions for bespoke goods). We will inform You of your cancellation rights at the appropriate time.
Guarantees and Warranties
We provide a comprehensive 5-year warranty on materials and workmanship. Full details of our guarantee will be provided with your order confirmation.
Limitation of Liability
We will carry out our Services with reasonable skill and care. Our liability for any loss or damage shall be limited to the value of your order. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
