What the West Sales Champion award is

Blind Screen holds an awards evening every year for its Gold Partners, the approved retailers who sell and fit Blind Screen across the UK. The awards are split by region, with a Sales Champion named for each one.

The West Sales Champion award recognises one business in the West for its commitment to Blind Screen and its success with the product throughout the year. This year’s award was sponsored by Hallis Hudson.

What is Blind Screen?

Blind Screen is a fly screen and a blind in one slim aluminium frame, made for windows and doors. You can keep insects out with the fly screen and still have the window open, then close the blind for privacy or a dark room at night.

• Two fabrics: Light Seal is 100% blackout. Scene Set is a partial blackout that lets around half the light through.
• Three frame colours: anthracite grey, black or white.
• Made in Britain: manufactured in Preston and usually fitted within 4 weeks of ordering.
• Guarantee: 5 years on the frame and 3 years on the fabric.

Blind Screen fitting in the West Midlands: what’s included

• A free home visit. It takes about an hour. We bring samples and frame colours so you can see them against your windows.
• A clear price. Blind Screen is priced on the frame model and the number of tracks. The fabric and the frame colour you choose do not change the price.
• Our own fitters. We never subcontract fitting. The people who fit your Blind Screen work for Greystone.
• Peace of mind. We carry £2m public liability insurance and are an approved Made in Britain member.

• Can Blind Screen be fitted on doors?

  Yes. Blind Screen is made for windows and doors, including patio and bifold doors where you want a fly screen and a blind in the same frame.

• Which fabric should I choose for a bedroom?

  Choose Light Seal if you want the room fully dark, as it is 100% blackout. Choose Scene Set if you want some daylight to come through, as it lets around half the light in.

• How long does it take from home visit to fitting?

  The home visit takes about an hour. Once you order, we do a final measure of every window and door, then Blind Screen is usually fitted within 4 weeks.
